Cargo handling and warehousing
The Port of Raahe has an extensive fleet of high-quality cargo handling machinery to allow fast loading, unloading and handling of cargo. Our new containerisation terminal ensures rapid container stuffing at Lapaluoto Port. The containerisation equipment can be used for loading timber, steel, flexible intermediate bulk containers and other goods suitable for container transport.
Lapaluoto Port accommodates a total of 21,000 m2 of covered warehouses and over 20 hectares of outdoor storage.
Our warehouse and storage facilities are particularly suitable for the storing of timber, containers, and general and bulk cargo. There is a separate storage area for the storing of hazardous substances as well as separate container power outlet bays.
