Lapaluoto also has a separate waiting quay with cement loading equipment, and a separate tugboat quay.

 

There are seven covered warehouses with a total area of nearly 21,000 m2 and nearly 20 hectares of outdoor storage at Lapaluoto.

There is a 6,000 m2 container stuffing terminal, which was taken into use in September 2012, in Lapaluoto.

It is the first automated container stuffing terminal with fully modernised equipment on the Bothnian Bay.

 

The terminal includes container loading equipment, a bridge crane and a humidity control system. The terminal also offers plenty of warehouse space and several automatic doors, making it easy to move goods around and place them in storage. The container loading equipment can be used for loading timber, steel, bulk packaging and other goods suitable for container transportation.

 

Terminal length 132 m, width 45 m, surface area 5,940 m2
